Eau Claire Tower
Eau Claire Tower is an “AAA” Class building situated in Calgary’s desirable Eau Claire district.
The double volume entrance lobby is enclosed with full-height low iron glass on the two street facades.
Each glass fin is suspended from the structure above and the glass is supported on purpose-designed heavy-duty adjustable doc and pin fittings to support the large panels of glass. The fittings were moved above and below the corners to reduce stresses on the glass and thus resulted in thinner, cost-effective glass being installed.
Internal glass guards cantilever up from the bridge slabs, enhancing the feeling of openness created by the glass walls.
