Guildford Town Centre

Guildford Town Centre Mall features an amazing vestibule lined with cantilever glass fins supporting both the interior and exterior glazing. Standard spiders and glass bolts were used along with custom fittings to integrate the doors.

This is one of two curving glass walls comprising the entrance lobby. Glass fins are mounted to the central, horizontal primary support beam with the upper fins spanning between the beam and the roof above and the lower fins cantilevering below. Countersunk fittings provide a flush exterior to the double glazed units. Not only did Stella focus on its hardware design but engineering design also played a big part in the process as well.
