More than meets the eye to this simple hardware
Cactus Club Restaurant - Calgary
Located in the heart of downtown Calgary (Stephen Ave + 3rd St SW), what appears to be a simple glass fence dividing the general public from the patrons is actually a vehicle guard designed to prevent vehicles from entering the main building in the event of an accident.
Heavy duty stainless steel posts embedded into the ground act as bollards whilst supporting the glass on doc and pin hardware.
Stella customized the doc and pins with a curved adaptor for ease of install (and cleaner aesthetics).
Stella also coordinated the shop drawings and engineering to ensure this project was up to code and desired performance.
