University of Alberta - Students' Union Building

The upgrade of University of Alberta’s Students’ Union Building provided a breath of fresh air with a new atrium, patio, and expanded study and social spaces.

The addition and renovation expands and enlivens student spaces on the main floor and lower level by interconnecting the two floors with a two-storey glazed atrium at the front entry. A double-glazed structural wall supported on glass fins brings the outside in whilst keeping the cold out.
