McMaster Health Campus
This vast 7-storey, double-glazed atrium wall is supported by a Cable Tension Cable System designed by Stella and their structural design team. The wall is 37m high and follows an arc 60m long. The glass is supported on a custom designed edge supported system created specifically for the project. At it’s completion, this technically complex project was believed to be the largest bow truss in Canada. Collaboration between Stella and Dialog’s made this challenging project a reality.
Not only did Stella focus on its hardware design but engineering design also played a big part in the process as well.
