Used as a gathering location and performance stage, this large curved glass canopy is supported by side-mounted spiders fastened to steel supports above. Stella’s articulating glass bolts (part of our spider assembly) allow for the faceting of the glass as it follows a curved line creating a cost-effective alternative to actual curved glass.

Behind the Scenes Details – Originally known at Millenium Plaza, this project is now known at Shumka Stage at Louise McKinney Riverfront Park in Edmonton, Alberta. The naming of the Shumka Stage is an acknowledgment of the years of contribution that the Ukrainian Shumka Dancers have made as ambassadors of Edmonton and Alberta in their performances around the world.
